Waxing

  • No sun baking or heat treatments ie : solariums for 8-12 hours

  • No exercise for 8-12 hours

  • No makeup over waxed area for 12 hours

  • No deodorants on the area prior to waxing

Manicures and Pedicures

  • When washing up/gardening, use gloves to protect nails

  • Weekly manicures are enough, every once in a while use moisturizer to keep skin hydrated

  • Exercise movements for hands/feet

  • Look after your body, and pay attention to zinc levels (white parts on nails) this means having deficiency

  • Regular manicures and pedicures keep nails strong and heathy

Spray Tans

  • Do not use exfoliant, deodorant, perfume or moisturizer

  • It will take approximately 8 hours for the tan to form after the application

  • Tan will last approximately 7-10 days

  • Moisturize every day so that the tan lasts even longer

  • Do not wear tight clothing after spray tan

Facials

  • Have at least 6-8 glasses of water a day to keep moisture levels high

  • 8 hours sleep at night

  • Wear sunscreen every day as damage caused by exposure to UV rays is the single greatest cause of wrinkles and aging skin

  • Eat a healthy diet

  • Keep alcohol to a minimum

Body Treatments : Massage

  • Aromatherapy: Keep oils on your body after your massage to allow the oils to enter the blood stream

  • Take a rest after a massage, you can get tired and somewhat dizzy

  • A warm shower after a massage will help muscles relax and you will be de-stressed more

  • Drink plenty of water - Flushes toxins out of the body such as lymph fluid and reduces muscle jarring.
